My name is Danielle but many call me Dani. I am a mother of a son named Jamie Michael. He is 4 years old and was born September 22nd 2008. He was Breastfed for 9 months. If it were up to me it would have been longer but he got bored and would crawl away. Lol. I taught him sign language so he could communicate what he needed before he could talk. By doing this it eliminated tempter tantrums because he could tell us what he wanted without getting frustrated. He started talking when he was 7 months old and walking when he was a year old. I did swimming lessons with him at the YMCA when he was 7 months old till he was a little over a year. He remembers even now the reach and pull with his arms they taught him. Our dog Paige past away when he was a little over a year old. He still remembers her. At the age of 2 he talked in full sentences and brought his toys out of his room to play with them because he didn't like being in there by himself. He loved playing outside with his golf set and horse shoes and running around. He refused to take naps and never stopped talking. I read him book every night before bed and this helped with his vocabulary and speech. He could also count to 13. At the age of 3 he could speak and identify his abc's. He spelled his name. He loved watching Disney shows and learning new things from Mickey Mouse club house and Handy Manny and many more. He was potty trained and wore big boy underwear to bed. Everyone who met him was surprised at how well he speech was and how well mannered he was. His father and I seperated and he started peeing his pants and misbehaving. This lasted for about a month and he stopped the peeing his pants I would put a diaper on him and he didn't like that at all so he would use the potty. At the age of 4 he can write his name and I am working with him to write more. They are very eager to learn as long as they are taught. The most important part of a child's life is the begining. You can't wait to see what the future holds for us. My children are my life.
Peace
